The truck has about 265,000 miles. The engine was changed before I purchased it about one and half years ago for an engine with 70,000 miles so I was told. I have to add about a pint of coolant almost every day. Only after driving about thirty miles or further. It is leaking but not really that bad. I'll change the cap again to see if that will help.

I have a feeling the leak is just really hard to see. Consider using a dye in the system to see if that helps you locate it. Also, if you can get your hands on a pressure tester, it would be really helpful.

I checked at local auto parts stores, no one has a pressure tester. I asked about the dye also. No one has that. Unless either I said the wrong thing or they misunderstood me.

Wow. I don't know where you are located and I don't like to provide any parts suppliers, but I looked quickly and a well known nationally recognized parts store that has the initials A Z have it. Take a look at picture 1. Picture 2 is from the same store and shows the pressure tester as a "loaner." Both picture indicate part numbers.

I must have asked for the wrong thing or they misunderstood me. I'll go to parts store to ask about it in person.

Welcome back:

You have the same kind of luck as I do. LOL I can't believe they don't know what you are asking for.

Let me know.

Joe

My 1994 Chevy C1500's a/c is not getting any power at all. I jumped the low pressure connector Ann's still no power. This leads me to believe there is a faulty relay which is not allowing power to get to a/c system. I have one dilemma. I have no idea where the relay is. I can find 3 relays on the truck. Two is under dash the third id mounted on firewall of the truck. I have no fuse box under hood so where would the a/c relay be located? I pulled globe box out to check for relays there. There's no relays behind glove box. Would the horn relay and a/c relay be the same one? I mean two components working on the same relay? Thank you for your time. You guys have been very helpful to me in the past
