A grinding noise appears recently when I drive, is not too loud but is there. ABS light is permanently on and emergency brake light turn on sometimes. Transmission shifts very nice, no idea what is happening I used the 4x4 for less than a mile few days ago and worked fine.
I noticed the noise and I can feel something when I stop accelerating, it is not a big deal because performance of my truck is not really affected however I am afraid the noise could get worse.
Any kind of help I thank you very much.

Good morning.

The grinding noise could be coming from anywhere.

Wheel bearings are the most common. You have them if front and rear. The fact that it changes pitch tells me that it is coming from the rear of the truck.

I would have the differential checked to see if there is enough oil in the rear and if there is any metal in the oil from a failed bearing.
