1999 GMC Jimmy outside temp readout

The outside temp readout in the driver info system on the roof console is not reading corectly and ive look in the haynes and chilton and can not find out where the sensor is located can you help me thanks

Every GM vehicle I have worked on the sensor is behind the grill in front of condensor/radiator, sometimes near center & sometimes near left side headlight assembly. It should have 2 wires going to it. When you unplug it readout inside vehicle should change. If it does you know wiring is ok!
