1992 GMC Jimmy 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i was driving last night on my way home it started to sputter then it died. I can turn it over but cant start the engine. I thought it maybe out of gas but I put gas in it. The engine still wont start. So I was thinking maybe furl pump was out so can u plz help me?

Hello, can you hear the pump run for a few seconds, when first turn the key on, no crank? Can you check fuel pressure? With the engine cranking, is there an injector spray pattern, spark at the plugs? Can you check for codes?

I had (and am having) the same problem with mine. Try unhooking the map sensor(looks like a little black box on the left side of the throttle body facing the truck) it has a 3 wire plug and a vacume line hooked to it. Unplug either the plug or the vacume line and see if it will start. Thats as far as ive gotten so far on mine. Replacing it didnt help either.
