Van sat for a year and would crank but not start. Fuel pump would not prime with the key on so I replaced the fuel pump and it still will not turn on with key on or when cranking. When I run a jumper from a 12v battery directly to the fuel pump the pump turns on and the van will start and run great. Checked all fuses and swapped the starter relay with fuel pump relay, both relays work.

Hello,

It sounds like you got a wiring issue with the fuel pump system.
As the pump is good and the relay and fuse is good.
For some reason you are not getting power to the pump. It could be a short in the wiring for the pump.

See attached for the fuel pump wiring harness.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.

The gray fuel pump wire that runs on the left frame to the fuel pump was broken near the drivers door. Van starts and runs great now. Thanks a lot SQM.
