Service Engine Again?

My 2001 Ford Taurus has 90,000 miles on it. It has the 3.0 engine. The service engine soon light came on about 6 months ago. The code revealed the EGR was defective.I replaced the EGR and the light came on again.I have since replaced all 3 componants to the EGR and the light still puts up a code PO401. Could someone please tell me what is causing this?

The ports and hoses were checked for blockage and none were found.

At this point i'am goin to say that the code says no flow detected. the port on the intake maniflold is blocked with carbon. clean that hole real good and see if that don't fix your problem. some times the little rubber hoses also get pluged where that connect to the DPFE sensor also make sure there clean and free. 8) hope this helps NOS.
