original question was where is cmp located and do I just disconnect the battery before replaceing. If the 8th letter in the VIN # is a S yes if not let me know.
Well the 8th letter is a U so what else is in volved in replaceing the cmp.

CAM sensor takes place the distributor cap
and it sits on the Synchronizer
It's mounted on with two screws
