I have an issue with my car that I need some ideas. Car runs great when started. No issues. When I stop the car and restart within about an hour the fuel pump does not come on. The engine tries to start spitting and sputtering then dies. I then wait about an hour, engine is cooled down, try to start no luck turn the key off then try again and fuel pump comes on and all is well until I stop it again. Any ideas!

Thanks for getting back to me. No check engine light. Although when starting all the engine lights are going through the light bulb check so I can not tell if the check engine light is on all the time. Also I replaced the fuel relay and this did not have any effect.
