I am not sure if the battery is weak and needs replaced. When I try to start the car it will turn over about 1 second then after trying again it will just click. When I tried to use jumper cables it still wouldn't charge or turn over. I tried moving the cables several times to make sure that I have a good connection. Would a bad battery prevent the car from starting even when jumping? Could it be a fuse or the starter?

Hello,

It sounds like you might have a faulty starter.
As you are not able to get anything more than a click, starter is likely the issue.
However you also want to check the starter relay.
The relay is located under the hood in the junction box (see diagram).
Test the relay and make sure it is functional.
