1997 Ford Taurus running lights

Hey there guys I have had problems with my day time running lights ever since I bought my taurus sho I have noticed the lights on dash and car dim in and out and yesterday when I came home from work my healights stayed on after I shut car off so I had to pull the fuse and there was nothing wrong with fuse

This is a common prob the dtdl controller is bad cost about 160 for the part

Controller is that the short form name for it cause I search google and nothing comes up to do with ford taurus sho?
