The engine cranks over good but won't start.
Every once in a while it almost fires up.
It did this same thing last winter.
Problem occurs when it is teens or colder and has set for 4-6 hours or more.

Your quick response was so very appreciated. I asked the question for my daughter who is 4 hours from where I live.
She just got off work in Kansas at 8:00 PM, it is single digit temperature there tonight, and she called me hoping I could help.
Your advice let it start right up! We will get the mechanic to check the IAC.
Thank you from both of us.
