I have a 1995 taurus gl 3.0l /eec, cranks but no start
i have spark, no fuel pressure. Checked inertia switch not tripped. Checked pink and black wire going to inertia sw. Should have 12v but does not. Checked fuel pump fuse ok. Checked yellow power wire going to pcm got 12v. Checked pink and black wire coming out of pcm nothing, are you suppose to get 12v at pink and black wire or 5vref. Wiring diagram from mitchell does not show fuel pump relay. How can I check fuel pump relay? I need to check pink and black wire for continuity from pcm to fuel pump. Can you send me good wiring schematic.

12v from PCM to inertia switch then to pump. Does not use relay so looks like PCM at fault

The constant control module incorpates the fuel pump relay but fuel pump does not use the fuel pump relay to energize. And is that hot at all times 12v at the pink and black wire out of the pcm?

Can I just back probe #22 from +B to #22 to see if #22 is grounding the fuel pump relay, with the key on? And if it is and im not getting 12v on pink and black wire. Dose that mean the PCM is bad?

#22 does get grounded. Key to on position momentarily comes on relay clicks and then light goes out. No 12v at pink and black wire at pcm that goes to ccrm and to innertia sw to fuel pump.

Is voltage getting to pump? Is pump ground good? Do you have a DVOM? Why replace pump? Does old pump run in bench test?

Take tank down and check wiring at the tank. If fuel pump relay feeds the pump, I should check #5 at ccrm to pump.

According to mitchell schematic, fuel pump ground is located at left front door sill. But to see if that grd. Is good I hook test lite up from + batt. To fuel pump connection grd. Wire, and and test feed wire from chassy grd.
