1990 Ford Taurus brake lights

I am having problems with my brake lights staying on al the time. I have changed the brake switch light and the multifunction switch, fuse and looked for shorts in the wiring could you please help, Bill

Make sure the switch was adjusted properly, should be a closed circuit, switch in when teh pedal is released, when the pedal is depreseed the circuit should be open, switch out.
