1995 Ford Ranger Sticky Gears

When at a stop and the truck is running I cannot go from nuetral to first gear. I have to turn the truck off and put it in first then start it back up and go. Then when switching gears it is really hard to switch. Is there anything that I can do quickly to fix this till I have money to replace stuff?

First, make sure the hydralic clutch resivour is full. If it is, chances are the pressure plate is bad. One last thning to check is the trans fluid. If you never changed it, try that, but make sure to use the correct type and weight oil.
