Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my engine shuts down both while driving and standing. There is no pattern to this and happens in no specific time frame it may do it a few times a day or not for weeks.I have replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump and sending unit. All electrical components still are operational when this occurs after sitting for 5 to t3n minuted it starts back up it almost seems like it is starving for fuel after it happens it will just crank over I have to wait the 5 or 10 minuted and it will start right up there is no check engine light or other warning signals any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Replace the ignition module, Fords are famous for em. Or take it out and have it tested. But being an intermittent problem, it may test ok when it cools, until it fails altogether!
