1993 Ford Ranger engine died going down interstate

Engine died going down interstae oil pressure went to 0 the motor turns over but will not start any ideas about where to start or maybe what the problem is

The oil pressure went to 0 for how long before the engine died on you? Have you tried spraying starter fluid into intake to see if that will make it run? Also remove a spark plug wire and have someone crank over engine and see if it sparks (make sure its close to metal on engine)
