Engine runs fine in park & nutrual, but stalls out when put into gear.
Only untill it warms up tho, then it shifts fine.
We have had problem with hesitation when shifting into reverse,
And im not sure if trany has OD or not, that hasnt acctually
worked since we bought it, tho it is on the shifter.
Do you
have the same problem?

I would look for vacuum leaks first. Then I would have the trans checked to verify it is ok.

Is the check engine light on?

The code number would be helpfull in trying to see the failed system

you will need a real shop to pull the code as it is an obd 1 system

It could be but you would have other issues like no shifting when moving, severe lack of power among other issues.

I would start with basics first to make sure the motor is acting correctly.
