I have a 1969 mustang. Every time I start it the oil pressure is at 41. When I rev it up it stays at 41. After about 5 minutes at idle it drops to 21. What could be the cause?

The readings you are getting are normal. You get a higher reading on the oil gauge when the car is cold and when you increase the RPMS. It's higher when cold because the oils viscosity is higher. When the oil becomes hot the viscosity thins out causing a drop in pressure. When you increase the RPMS you caused the oil pump to run faster and this will increase the oil pressure. Hope this helps.
