1991 Ford F-250 Valve Cover & Rear Main Seal Replacement

I have a 1991 Ford F250 Extended Cab XL, 115647 mile with 5.8 Liter engine.

I had it in yesterday for normal service and was told that I had a Valve Cover leaking oil and a Rear Main Seal also leaking. I must have repairs done by and auto shop because were I live will not allow repair work to be done on any vehicles. Can you give me an approximate Estimate of what a Ford Dealer would charge for these repairs and what I might be charged by a non-dealer repair shop?

I would like a time estimated to complete both repairs also.

The valve cover gaskets call for 5.2 hrs. Retail on the parts from ford are 28.26each 2x needed

the rear main labor is 4.6 for rwd 7.1 hrs for 4x4. Parts 21.52 ford retail
