Odometer & trip OD not working.

'97 F-150, auto, 2wd, rear anti-lock brakes, 214,900 miles, 4.6, 3door cab.

Coming home from a week of camp I reset the trip OD & it worked for about 25 miles & quit. Now I think the trip OD has to turn for the mileage to run/keep mileage. The speed odometer still works & we know how fast we are going but I would like to fix the trip OD.

The speedo head needs to be pulled out and partially disassembled to reach the small connector at the end of the flat wire tape (about 7-8 tiny pins) to wiggle it, bad connection.
