My husband tried going to work and the truck started but would not shift into gear. He went under the truck to unhook the linkage and try to manually put into gear and it would not budge. We are hoping it is a sensor that went bad. The only other thing is that his truck did not come with an owner's manual. He can not check the fuses to see if that could very well be the problem. What are your suggestions?

Where would the shift interlock be located at? And is it something my husband can fix?

Yep thats exactly what the problem was. He changed out those fuses and now it's going in to gear with out a problem. Which is really odd that a blown fuse would cause it not to shift into gear. Thank you very much for your help, you are truly a life savor! I wish there was more helpful people out there like you!
