1999 Ford F-150 haeds

My truck has been down since 2005 it has one valve bad. My question is if I get the right side of my heads done will that make the other side perform week.


Another question is when I was driving my truck the shifting arm is not lind up like drive the arm is on drive 2 how do I fix that?

If you put the exact parts back in aand dont clean off the carbon out of the heads and the cylinders it wont cause performance problems. But if you put in performance valves and springs and dont adjust the clearence then you will notice a difference.

Adjust the "prindle" ( PRNDL cable) -it's very easy - just stand on your head under the dash with a little flashlight in your mouth. Usually I find the little plastic holder's broken, though. I'll either fix it with a tiny plastic "zip" tie or pop the I/C (instrument cluster) out and replace cable.

You can try spraying some lube in the cable and snapping it a bit also if the holder isnt broken as mr help said.
