Was the check engine light on? Also, are you able to check for spark and fuel to the engine?

The check engine light is on for P0401 and P0455 which is EGR large leak and insufficient flow. I have replaced the hosing to the EGR system the EGR valve the throttle control and one other valve on the fire wall. I erased the errors and the engine started. I believe that the GPFE needs to be replaced to end this problem.
