1989 Ford F-150 Gas gage

Dual Tanks. Both readings erratic and either pegs full or empty at about 1/2 tank.
Where is sensor located?
Any easy fix?

Each tank has its own float. If they are both doing the same thing, chances are either the body control module (BCM) is causing it or the gauge itself is the problem.
