Cylinder pattern

I have a 2000 Explorer Sport with about 80,000 on it I was trying to find out what the cylinder pattern was for the engine. I would assume that it would go, if you are looking toward the back of the engine to the front, 1-3 on the left 4-6 on the right. I just want to make sure though. I know there are two types of V6 on this vehicle the one I have is not the SOC. Thanks for the help.

Hey jp,
pretty sure its the other way 1, 2, 3 on the right (pass) side. To verify this, look at the top of the coil pack, the wire #'s should be printed on it, find #1 and trace it to the side its on!

The numbers are not on the coil pack. Do you know a site that might have a diagram on it?
