How long did it spike before returning to normal? Was there any indication that the engine was actually overheating?

It spiked at a red light. Came back down at the same light then when I began driving again it went back up but the light did not come on this time. The engine sounded like it was going up a steep hill when accelerating

The temp light came on at the red light then went off. Maybe on for 30 seconds. All fluid levels are good also

If it only happens at stops, check to make sure the fan is coming on. Let me know what you find.
