What type of engine does my vehicle have?

I keep getting told not right engine that it a 3.0 not 4.0. Please help

These Explorer vehicles all came with a 4.0L. So, if someone is telling you that this has a 3.0L then that is not correct.

I am attaching the info below that will show more evidence of this.

Basically, you can prove this by looking at the VIN. If the 8th position is an X then that is a 4.0L.

I am attaching all this info below so please run through this and let us know if other info is needed.
