1998 Ford Explorer turn signals

Checked fuses and they are working fine, but turn signals wont work. What do I check next and where is it locoated?

Do hazard flashers work? If not, check for faulty turn signal/hazard flasher relay located in steering column. If hazards do work then check signal switch.

The signal switch is the part you use to turn on and off the turn signals.
