I replaced the driveshaft and yoke, and I changed the tranny fluid and screen, and the rear end oil. The problem is when I start off driving from first to second it clunks and after that it shifts fine but when I go to stop right before it does it clunks again. Also the rear end does have so what play in it. Is it the rear end?

Before I say it's te differential, are you sure the trans mount and motor mounts are good? Also, are the shackles ( where the leaf spring bolts to the frame) in good shape. They all rust and break leaving the axle only partially attached to the frame.

Let me know.
