1994 Ford Expedition Normal Idle then Stall

1994 Ford Expedition 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 136K miles

My escort has suddenly developed a problem where after it warms up it will stall exactly 40 seconds after the gas pedal was last depressed. If you pulse the pedal before it dies it idles normally again for 40 seconds then stalls. This does not happen when it is cold or the AC is on. Could this be the Idle air controll?

If the engine wants to die, it could be several things including the idle air control valve. Has the check engine light come on? Also, I didn't think they made the Expedition in 1994. Is this an Explorer?
