Hi, My name is Amy (Yes a woman) lol. Anyhow, I have just recently had some trouble where I was told it was my heating core. I have had the smoke or steam rolling out of my vents into my car. I noticed in a previous question with the same problem as mine, You informed him on how to fix the problem FOR NOW by disconnecting the hoses and looping them. I have found the hoses coming in and going out, BUT what did you mean by" looping" them. Also I noticed you said NOT to plug the hoses. Which I am glad to see because I was told TO Plug by a NON Mechanic. So could you please tell me exactly what you mean by looping. Thank You So Much.

Connect the 2 coolant hoses (black rubber hoses in engine compartment) together into a loop for coolant to flow through freely.

So I need to take the incoming hose and outgoing hose and disconnect both. Then connect them to each other. Is that right? Thanks

Yes, take them off the heater core inlet and outlet and connect together. Remember this will not let any hot coolant into the passenger compartment !

One Last thing, What is going to be the best way for me to connect the Heater Core In Hose and Out Hose? What should I use? And by the way, Thank You for all the info. And yes I knew that it would stop all of my heat and defrost. It will still blow air out though won't it? Not to mention my air conditioning?

I would try to find a small metal tube the same diameter as the heater core inlet/outlet and 2/3 inch long to connect the hoses together ... yes your blower and A/C will still work .. just no heat

I just wanted to Thank You for the Advice. I think what your team is doing is really Great. And by experience, Alot of sites will not take things serious when they find out I am a Female. And that is fine. But I just wanted to say Thanks. And due to the great advice, I fixed my car. YEAAAA.
