Good morning,

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you turn on the key?

You need to check for spark as well.

When you changed the filter, did the fuel smell like fuel? There always is the possibility you may have got a bad tank of fuel.

I poured one bottle of dry gas into the tank. Yes the fuel pump sounds strong. Just replaced the distributor plugs and wires also. Yes it smelled like fuel.

The dry gas will have little or no effect.

You would need to drain the entire tank and add fresh fuel.

That is if the fuel is the issue.

How is that to be done? Is there any other solutions?

You would need a siphon to remove the bad fuel from the tank. Then you can add the new fuel.

No, there is no other solution.

This is assuming that the fuel is the issue.

The quickest way to siphion all of the fuel from a tank that has been topped off would be a hose going into the fuller neck?

Would it be faster to disconnect the fuel filter and keep on priming the pump?

It only runs for 2 seconds at a time. It would take a long time.
