Messages are, Engine Fault Service Now Hill Assist Unavailable.

Referring to "Chyanne Sheriff's" 2013 Focus, mine has many of the same codes displayed on the vehicle display. The terminology "Ignition On", does that mean key turned all the way but don't start the engine? The terminology "Information Buss", would I find that in the vehicle display or on my Innova 3100 scan tool? Also, I have a parasitic battery drain that would kill the battery in about 4 hours. Took the battery and alternator to AutoZone for testing and both tested good. I do know that I have a MAF sensor code, and I will be taking it out to clean it with CRC MAF cleaner. Also referring to "Sheriff's" issues, how do I check the "Network" and "Pinpoint" testing? Please help. Thank you for everything in advance.

Hello,

The "Ignition On" means the system is on without cranking the engine over. "Information Buss" is calling out the CAN BUS system which is a complete scan of the entire car. This guide and video will show you how. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

We need the codes to see what's going on, but I have heard of the Ford dealer replacing the transmission when this happens, FYI. Please start a new question for the "parasitic battery drain" because I don't think the problems are related. Please go over these guides and get back to us.

Allright, that is pretty straight forward, I would get a new MAF sensor, here is the location. Don't forget to clear the codes once the repair has been made. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
