White smoke, no overheating or coolant loss and gas mileage is bad. Transmission slips at times taking off like a chugged.

Have coolant system pressure checked. This motor was famous for head gasket problems. Check transmission fluid, if dark brown or black maybe needs a transmission overhaul. Finally scan for codes.

Been done no leaks or overheating. Uses about a gallon of gas a mile though. Injector maybe?

Fuel pressure is 33 psi and when I disconnect the regulator it goes up about five pounds. No fuel smell from hose or regulator.

Check your oil for residual gas fumes and its level.

Hey Don,

Can you remove the radiator cap to see if there is pink goo inside? This will mean you have a radiator cooler that is blown. Also, can you pull the transmission dipstick to check the transmission fluid level please?

Please let me know what you find.

Best, Ken

Your fuel pressure should be 45-50 psi. So it is quite low but with the blow by do a compression test and if possible a cylinder leak down test.

No pink in radiator fluid and trans fliud clean, I unhooked the modulator now it shifts right no slippingand also I checked each injector as it was running and all were ticking, but I did unhook the canister vent line at the lower front of the throttle body and it was wet and the rubber hose was melting, left it unhooked and ran for about 30 mins and smoke went away, then went to store tonight with 90 degree engine temp and smoke id back but looks grey now

If you unhooked canister then the purge valve is shot and you have a vacuum leak if you didn' plug the line. I think your problems are deeper however.
