My SUV will just shut off while sitting idling, within thirty seconds it will crank right back up. It idles smooth for a minute or two then shuts down, but it will crank right back up again. I changed a fuel relay and it stopped this for a week but now it started back again.

Good morning.

I would start by checking the fuel pressure. You may have a failing fuel pump. There should be an access port on the fuel rail for this test. If you do not have a tester, you can rent one at a parts store.

A crankshaft position sensor could also cause this issue as well. You would need a scan tool to check this. It would also set the check engine and store a code.
