Hard start on first start up

When I first start my car after it has been off for a while (first thing in the morning of after work) the car will often struggle or take long time to turn over. We had the battery replaced to a great quality one just a few months ago. What could it be?

Hello,

This might be a problem with your spark plugs. Your vehicle seems like it has pretty low mileage, but it never hurts. You also might want to check your vehicle's air filter. I have included links below for both of these procedures.
