Head gasket leaking

I put pour and seal head gasket sealer in my oil vehicle, thinking my head gasket was leaking. My head gasket is good. My question is, will the pour and seal head gasket sealer, wreck my engine, or should I just do a oil change and not worry about it?

If it hasn't been started or ran you might be able to save it if you drain out the oil and then leave the plug out and pour a few quarts of transmission fluid into it to flush the sealer out.
Or you could drain the oil and use some diesel fuel to do the same thing. Unfortunately it will be hard to be sure it is all out but flushing the engine may get most of it. Beyond that the other option would be to remove the engine and take it apart and clean it out that way. If it has been run or even turned over then I would expect to need a new engine as that sealer is similar to the stuff used during the cash for clunkers program, in that program they would drain the oil, dump in a quart of sealer and let it destroy the engine.

I thought I had a blown head gasket, it doesn't smoke and it doesn't leak oil and it doesn't overheat, but I could smell a little burning oil, when I come up to a light. So I went and bought pour and seal gasket sealer in oil sub. Come to find out looking in owners manual, old owner wrote notes about work done old owner could smell a little burning oil. Got under to look, he had front bushings done and a glob of grease dropped on the muffler. Now when I bought the car I was told it had a blown head gasket, so I put in pour and seal head gasket sealer. Now my question, will the pour and seal wreck my engine not having a blown head gasket after all?

No. It will be fine. However, I would suggest we do two things. First, let's just change the oil to be safe assuming this was a sealer from the engine oil side (most get poured in cooling system).

Then we need to actually check the head gasket to rule this out once and for all. Here is a guide that shows how to do this. It is pretty easy so just let us know if you have questions and we can walk through it.
