Before this happened the van was running fine, no codes and no problems.
Simultaneously the power door locks, power seat, turn signals and blower motor all quit working. The 40A fuse in the door lock circuit had blown. I checked the circuit from the PDC to the junction block (plug removed) and there is a short to ground. I have the Chrysler workshop manual and it states to repair the circuit. I assume that somewhere in the wire harness the 12awg wire is shorting to ground and also affecting the other components. The van still starts and runs okay but it is too dangerous to drive with no turn signals and being unable to adjust the drivers seat. I considered replacing the grounded circuit with a jumper but I am concerned about the affect on the other components. So do I tear into the wire harness or send the old gal to the scrapyard?

Hello, I am Danny.

If you want to tackle the wiring fix it! I am sure your factory manual has wiring diagrams but, we can send you some too. Hope this helps and feel free to ask us questions. Do not scrap! Thanks for using 2CarPros.
