Looks like the fuse replacement fix was a little premature, truck seems to be acting up again. Going to try disconnecting battery for about an hour and hopefully that will fully reset the BCM, which could be the underlying issue

Seems like resetting the BCM was just a temporary fix, it's back to intermittently glitching out again

Now left side driver dash fuses are without power - 3, 9, 17, 21, 22, 23

replacing the ignition switch next

Replaced ignition switch, still no power to fuse 3, 9, 17, 21, 22, 23

I cannot locate ground g201, I've literally searched for hours. I do not want to pull the entire dash apart, just hoping to find it, without knowing exactly where it is

I've removed basically everything underneath the dash except for the AC evaporator / ductwork

I was trying to find a short today - I saw where somebody put a test light between the positive cable and the battery, and if it lights up that means I have a short somewhere. Well it lit up and stayed lit after removing every single fuse under the hood and in the dash, which either means wherever the short is the circuit is not controlled by a fuse, or my test light is lighting up for some other reason. Again with positive cable disconnected and test light making a circuit between battery and said cable

I'm at my wit's end with this thing. Thanks for any and all ideas would be helpful

Seems that pulling and replacing the TBC fuse worked for about a day, then troubles would show again

Replacing with a new fuse daily made it work for the better part of a week, but now has no effect. The only thing I can think of is that pulling the fuse was resetting part of the BCM somehow

Just had it running for about a minute, temp and fuel gauge didn't work, along with radio, AC and windshield wipers. But then I heard the AC compressor click on for a second, even though it was turned off

Then all of a sudden everything working again, including little dash lights for the four-wheel drive, and the little green light in the rear view mirror, along with the HVAC control lights. And the AC was blowing cold - until I push the wiper switch and then all mentioned systems went out instantly

Maybe this can point to some kind of Clue

Thanks again for any and all input

Does this all point to a problem with a BCM?

Yep, it sure does, I would get a replacement and have it programmed in.
