I have the car listed above and the power windows won’t go up or down. I checked the switch seems fine. I am getting power to the switch because the lights turn on on the switches but when I work the switches the lights on the switches dim. Could this be a short in the master switch?

Good morning,

I attached a wiring diagram for you to view.

You will need a voltmeter to test the voltage at the switch. The dark green/red wire is the power wire. Can you check that wire at the back of the switch for power with the key in the on position?

We need to see if there is enough voltage for the system to work.

Okay, I checked for voltage and I’m not getting any reading when I work the switches also I don’t get any readings, when I check from power to the other terminals I get anywhere from 2.82v to 1.35v.

Okay, I asked you to check a specific wire with the key on. Did you check that wire and if you did, what was the voltage?

Okay, go to the fuse block on the left side of the dash as indicated in the wiring diagram I sent you. circuit breaker 22 is what provides power to the switch.

Check that for power on both sides. You may have a bad circuit breaker or wiring issue.

Hello again. I checked the circuit breaker with a light meter I get very dim voltage on one side the other has none. I already checked to see if maybe I had a bad ground but the ground seems fine. Honestly, I’m out of options. I checked every door where the wires come in at to see if there was a broken wire and come up with nothing. Is there a solenoid anywhere that I can maybe check?

Replace the circuit breaker. It should be the same on both sides.
