Hi, I have the truck listed above, 1500 with the 5.3, 4L60E transmission and a 3:73 axle. I'm thinking about rebuilding the 5.3 the same way as was shown on YouTube and I'm wondering if I change the 3:73 to a 4:10, will the stock transmission handle the rebuilt engine and new gear ratio? Or will I have to buy a different transmission?

Yep, the transmission should be okay, I would change the fluid out and install a new filter, also the 4:10 gears will make it go much better so I would definitely change those out.
