How do i change the oil in the rear axle, what kind of oil do i use and how much will it take. I have a durmax diesel and allision tran. 3500 drw

To change the oil you need to remove the rear end cover and the oil drains out. Use silicone to reassemble and then add fluid to the pipe plug in the middle of the housing. Ask your parts gut what kind of oil to use, it varies on every vehicle hope this helps.
