Can you get a recording of what it is doing? Does the door move or is it stuck in the fully open position? Or does it just bang against the latch when you try to close it?

If it is banging against the latch when closing it, try operating the interior door handle to release the latch. If this doesn't do it you may need to use a screw driver to manually move the latch but let's just clarify the issue and we can go from there. Again, a video will explain this much easier. Thanks

Okay. If the picture below is what you are experiencing then you have an issue with one of the hinges. More than likely it is bent or otherwise binding. This is pretty typical on truck driver doors. Especially when the driver leans on the door when getting in and out. It puts stress on that hinge and it finally bends to the point the door will not move or even close because it is not aligned any longer. Try picking up on the door and then closing it. If this helps then you need to replace the hinges and possibly fix the structural issue on the A post.

If the door moves but is not closing, here is a guide that can help with that.
