I have a 2003 chevy Silverado 1500 base model no electric door locks or windows. Im having a problem with my radio when I turn off my truck and take the keys out and open my door its suppose to turn off my radio but doesn't. Passenger door works fine. I know my door switch is in the door jamb, I replaced it and did not work. Any other ideas?

Ive seen this once before. When you get out the drivers side reach in with the door open and the radio on and wiggle the ignition switch and see if the radio goes off

If you've replaced the door jamb switch then take the panel back off and check that the wires going to it are not broken or rubbed through somewhere causing a false reading. If you have a volt meter or test light you can take the switch out and test it by checking continuity by operating it by hand

Otherwise it may be a faulty body control module issue
