The heater will blow hot when at idle but when driving the heater gets cold

A few different things can cause this. Faulty coolant mix or low coolant level, faulty thermostat and clogged heater core are the most common. Best place to start is by checking the coolant level and coolant mixture. If OK, remove the thermostat and test it. If working properly, flush the heater core out.
