1990 Dodge Spirit 2.5

It constantly turns off and won't restart for an hour or longer. Quick start helps restart and sometime it doesn't help at all. My electrical pump inside the gas tank has been replaced also my solenoid. Could some one please help me out with some adviced it would be greatly appriciated. Thank You

Have you replaced the fuel filter, or checked for fuel pressure.

Yes to both. Some one told me it could also be the wires that go from under the hood to the gas tank but I don't know what do you think? Thank you for your reply.

Does the ingine turn over but just doesnt sart, or does it not turn at all. Was the pump replaced after the problem or before. Also have you checked for spark, dist, plugs, wires, check to make sure you are getting good spark. Also check to make sure you are actually getting fuel to the engine
