Unable shift Manual Gears

I had no warning, car was shifting fine, I had reached the 4th gear, and was ready to shift into 5th gear and the shifter became "loose" as if something has come detached.

Pls. Advise, thanks in advance.

Are u able to shift into any other gears? Or their is not way getting any gears.

I was ONLY able to shift to the 4th gear, the gear, shifter itself, felt like it was loose. I couldn't shift into the 5th gear.
