1997 Dodge Ram wont start

My wife ran my 1997 dodge ram 1500 5.9liter 4x4 out of gas the other day. I put 5 gallons in it and it still wont start. I replaced the related fuses and relays. And it still wont start. I popped the fuel line going into the fuel rail and it spits gas at me. Any suggestions?

Do a code test
if you have spark
spray starting fluid in the intake air way and try to start and if it did check fuel pressure and injector pulse

if no spark suspect crank sensor and or coil
