1997 Dodge Ram runs great, turnoff engine, will not start b

Engine runs great at first, if you turn it off and try to restart the engine there is no spark from the coil. You have to wait along time to restart it and it will fire-up again. Engine light on error said the cam senor is bad, this truck has no camshaft senor, could be the crankshaft senor too, can't find that one at all. Need some help here.

Hello, what is the litre size of your engine? My info shows cam sensor in the distributor, crank sensor should be located, passenger side, rear of engine, back of cylinder head. I'd check wiring circuits before changing anything.
