Ok so the alternator went out on the way to work yesterday. I had it and the battery tested. The alternator failed and the battery passed. Bought a new part and installed. Truck started right up and ran for maybe 1-2 mins then died. I couldn't get it restarted even with a jump. It would just turn over and never fire up. The battery had been recharged at the shop but barely started the truck with the alternator. I took the new alternator back to make sure it was ok and it tested fine. I also picked up a new battery since the current one was quite old and didn't appear to hold a charge. Installed everything again and got nothing. The truck will turn over but won't fire. I pulled a plug and it appeared to be slightly wet so it looks like there is gas. Tested the ignition coil and replaced it. Still nothing the truck will just turn over but never fire. Any ideas?

Do you have spark at the spark plugs? Do you have spark at the coil? Check back with us.
